RESERVATIONS: All reservations must be paid in full 30 days before arriving; half payment is required at time of booking. Rental rates will include rate quoted, local & state taxes (14.5%), and additional fees (ie…Housekeeping fees, Pet Fees, Early arrivals, or Late Departures, etc). All reservations will require a signed Terms and Conditions at check in with a valid credit card, plus a current driver’s license for identification purposes. A personal check will be accepted for any of these charges if presented to the company on or before thirty (14) days prior to the arrival date.
CANCELLATIONS: Reservations cancelled 45 days or more prior to arrival date will forfeit 50% of the Total Rental Fee; 22-44 days prior to arrival will forfeit 75%; 1-21 days prior to arrival will result in forfeit of the full amount. Latitude26.com regrets that it is unable to waive any of the cancellation charges above, whatever the circumstances may be.
Please note: In case of a Hurricane or bad weather, cancellations with refunds will not be given. Latitude 26 Highly Recommends that all guests purchase adequate cancellation or vacation insurance either through their insurance agent or travel agent.
SECURITY/DAMAGE DEP: A Credit Card is required for security deposit. During the month of March: All confirmed reservations will be required to leave a security/damage deposit of $600. There will be no refunds if these conditions are broken, no matter the circumstances. If damages exceed your security deposit, the guest will be liable for any charges in excess of your security deposit. There are to be no parties, weddings, etc. allowed without prior written consent. The Company or its representatives may enter the Property at any time, without notice, for the purposes of protection and/or maintenance of the property. Whenever possible, the Company will provide plenty of notice to the guest prior to such entrance.
GUESTS: Must be 21 years of age to rent. Reservations are confirmed for the number of guests listed; outside visitors are not allowed. Your reservation is subject to immediate eviction and/or additional charge if you have more guests than the property allows. The registered guest must ensure that children are supervised at all times. It is the policy of L26 that all children under the age of 18 years are not left in rental accommodation un-supervised during the rental period. The registered guest will be responsible for the actions of any family or guests you permit into the property.
PARKING: Each property has vehicle limitations. Please verify with a reservationist. Some condos allow only 1 car per unit, vehicles without parking permits will be towed at owner’s expense, plus a $250 fine for violating rules. Trailers, Tents, campers, or motor homes are not permitted at any of our properties.
SMOKING: All of our properties are designated as NON- SMOKING! However, if you do have a guest that must smoke please do so in the balcony or patio areas. If the smell of smoke is detected upon check-out inspection, there will be a $200 violation fee.
CHECK-IN: Check-in is between 3-5 pm, at 3213 Padre Blvd, South Padre Island, Tx. The office is open 9am – 6pm 7 days a week. If you plan on arriving after hours, contact our office for special arrangements with one of our friendly representatives.
CHECK-OUT: Check-out time is 11am. All keys and garage door openers must be returned to our office. Late check-outs may be available for an additional charge of $50.00; please contact our office to make arrangements. The agency will not be responsible for items left or lost in the unit after check-out.
KEYS: Guests will receive at least 1 key, no more than 2 sets of keys per property. There is a $50.00 charge for any keys not returned to the rental agency.
PETS: Pets are only allowed with a non-refundable pet deposit of $75.00, fees will be included in your rental agreement. Not all properties will accept pets; please inquire with one of our friendly representatives prior to confirming your reservation. Maximum number of pets will be two (2). Guests who have a pet without paying the pet fee will face immediate eviction and will forfeit their security/damage deposit.
EXCESSIVE CLEANING: If the property is left extremely dirty after departure, an excessive cleaning fee will be deducted from the security deposit. The added charge may vary.
FURNISHINGS: Most homes are used frequently by their individual owners. They are, therefore, "fully equipped" to each individual owners taste. Often the owner will leave personal items in locked closets so we ask that you respect their personal space and Do Not Open Locked Closets.
LINENS & COOKING UTENSILS: Provided in all our properties. Fitted sheets are not used in any of our properties, only flat sheets. Extra pillows and blankets are very limited, we advise guests make arrangements to providing these extra amenities.
TOWELS: Towels equipped in the properties are not to be used as beach towels or for cleaning up messes. If towels are used for cleaning messes, you will be charged for that towel. Guest must provide their own pool & beach towels.
SUBSTITUTIONS: Sometimes acts of nature and other forces beyond our control prevent a property from being available as reserved. Therefore, we reserve the right to substitute a property that we consider equivalent or better for the property reserved.
DEFICIENCIES: All properties are carefully inspected by our staff prior to your arrival; however, deficiencies can still occur. Should you have a problem, please report it to our office as soon as it is discovered, any of time day or night. If we are closed, you may contact our after hours line 956-433-9557. We will make every reasonable effort to correct the problem in a timely manner. However, deficiencies such as appliances or other malfunctions, cleaning problems, or utility problems do not justify a refund.
CHANGES: If you must make changes, there will be a $40.00 processing fee.
MINIMUM STAY: Rental rates are based on a 2 night minimum stay. Longer minimum stays may be required during the summer season or holiday periods.
LOST OR STOLEN: Latitude26 does not accept liability for lost or stolen personal belongings of the guest from the property during their rental period. In the event that items of the guests are lost or stolen, the guest should advise the appropriate authorities first. Items remaining may be returned to the guest freight collect or disposed of at the discretion of the agency.
I have read, understand, and agree to abide by these TERMS. I understand that violating these rules may result in eviction with no refund. I understand the cost of extra cleaning, excessive garbage removal, missing items, and damages may be deducted from my damage deposit or charged to my credit card and hereby authorize Latitude26 for such charges. I understand that my rental expires at 11am and I will check out, remove all of my possessions and vacate the premises at or prior to that time, unless specific permission is obtained from the agent. I understand that if I leave early for any reason or am evicted I am NOT entitled to a refund.
I authorize Latitude 26, Inc., located at 3213 Padre Blvd. South Padre Island, Texas, 78597 to charge my credit card, for the amount on my reservation and for my stay at your rental property.
